Because a number of nearly concurrent cases have come up, that’s why. And what are you a doctor of anyway??

Because many older homes and buildings after about 1900-1970 were built using abspetos for insulation and heating and the debris that comes off the stuff has carcinogens in the fibers and it’s a huge expense for many places to refurbish buildings to remove this toxic material which requires specially certified waste removal companies to come in and remove it and that’s a huge cost some owners don’t want to swallow up.

I had a friend die of this…
He worked for a company that exposed him to asbestos and it took several years to catch up with him.
He died a slow death and it hit him in his lungs.
Many folk are exposed to asbestos and don’t even know it.
The problem is that the asbestos companies knew that it was dangerous and kept selling it. It’s a lot like the cigarette companies who denied that cigarettes were dangerous.
