		<description>No, but a friend&#039;s husband was diagnosed a few years ago, he had worked on research with asbestos  at Imperial College many years before.
By the time he was diagnosed he was beyond treatment, so she converted a room overlooking the garden into his bedroom, made him as comfortable as she could.  Oxygen cylinders were arranged by his doctor.
Apart from a light diet with nourishing soup, anything he fancied really, he was made quite comfortable.  He did die, but so peacefully it was dream like.
I wish your relative well, this was a bit removed from me, but I felt it as my father had died from lung cancer, again peacefully but in hospital.</description>
